Dr Fiona Molloy
MB ChB, BSc (Hons), MICGP, DOWH
Dr. Fiona Molloy graduated from Warwick Medical School (UK) in 2010, having previously completed a Science degree at University of Galway, graduating with Honours in Physiology and Anatomy.
Following medical school, Dr. Molloy spent two years working in Belfast across a broad range of medical and surgical specialties before pursuing a career in General Practice. She completed her GP training with the North East GP Training Scheme in 2016 before returning to County Galway, where she worked as a GP in Mountbellew. In June 2023, Dr Molloy took over a long-established single-handed practice in Culleen, just outside Headford town.
Dr. Molloy has a special interest in Women’s Health and Minor Surgery. She is an experienced IUD and Implanon inserter, as well as a LARC tutor with the Irish College of General Practitioners. She also has extensive experience in the management of chronic conditions including diabetes, asthma, and COPD,
and is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families in the local community.
